Dalish lip/cheek balm

Luxola is having promo for their cosmetics up to 60%. So I've bought some items from them. In this post I will review a little about Dalish lip/cheek balm, which was claimed to be 75% organic and natural.  This actually attracted me the most. I'm definitely choosing natural over some synthetic chemical laden cosmetics, because it will be sticking on my face the whole day, and who knows what those chemicals actually do to my skin?

So this is the outer box of the lip balm. Rectangular in shape, unlike the usual square shape. It's free from paraben, sulfate, phthalates, petrochemical, GMO and gluten. Sounds healthy and all natural right? XD
Outer box. Looks like it's made of recycled paper. 5.75ml. Please take note of this figure.

Tadaaaaa... The inside. Look at the volume. It says 4.4ml. So the volume stated on the outer box was actually the volume of the box? Sounds ridiculous. But they're just figures, so let us not become obsessed with numbers like some random mad mathematician.

I bought myself a shade B03, because it was one of the 2 shades which are on sale. The another shade was a bit dark purplish, and I wasn't adventurous enough to get it. So I just stick with this conservative reddish orange colour.

The design of the bottom, looks kinda different from other brands, or maybe because I wasn't exposed much to other brands (sorry for my limited budget and resources).

This is when I open the cap. There's one part sticking out without needing to twist the bottom. But the uppermost part is kinda dry.

The colour when I've rubbed many times on my hand. I can tell u that the first attempt wasn't that good, because it was dry and couldn't stick on my skin. Had to rub a few times for this colour. See the colour, it's pinkish with orange tint, and shimmery. It feels a bit sandy on the lips. And the colour turned a bit like copper bronze on my lips, sexy, but dry. It's not as moisturizing as other lip products that I've came across, so I think I'll need a lip balm to go with this. It's smells like vanilla, maybe nestum, that kind of food smell, which makes u feel like licking your own lips, partly because it is dry too..hehe. It can be removed easily using tissue paper, without leaving behind any stains like other conventional lipsticks, so rest assured that it doesn't contain any lost-lasting chemicals in it. And the size is small enough that u can bring it for travel, and it can be used as a blusher too!

Overall it looks like a great product. Will give it 4/5 stars, 1 star off for its dryness. But the main thing in buying this, is that I can eat my lipstick without worrying about toxic chemicals. So, food, here I comeeeeeee~~~~

Price after discount is RM28, I think it's only 45% discount. Still affordable.
